What Is a No Doc Mortgage?

A No Doc or Low Doc Mortgage is a type of mortgage that requires very little documentation from the borrower to obtain funding. There truly is no such thing as a “No” doc mortgage as even the application is documentation of the request for funding and a minimum for rental property loan requirements. No Doc Mortgages are based on either the borrowers credit or the asset being financed. The most common No Doc Mortgage is the no income verification loan for rental properties. While the term No Doc is used widely throughout the industry some documentation is always required. At minimum an application and proof of funds are needed for even the lowest industry LTV programs. 

There are programs for every type of borrower from good credit to bad.
